Review:

At first I thought, Brickshooter's concept is similar to games like Tetris, but I quickly found out that is not the case. It is definitely more challenging than Tetris. My first attempt at Brickshooter failed I could not even pass level 1. So I read over the instructions in the help menu section and tried again which I was more successful. The concept of the game is to match bricks in the center with the bricks covering the four walls behind. You must take 2 bricks from those walls and match them to one of the center bricks matching across, vertical, or L shape. After you match them they disappear and you receive points, but the challenge is you can not always find matching bricks so you have to set up and match the bricks on the outer walls in order to get to the matching bricks behind them.

Not offering hints is a tad disappointing, but they do offer step by step instructions and terminal studios support e-mail address if you have any questions. Options offered through the game where more than expected ranging from number of colors 5-10, On/Off sounds, music, full screen, game timer, and offer to change the skin of the game. I especially like the game saver, so you can pick up where you left off. The music though was very poor, but you have the option of turning it off if it annoys you during game play. I found this game to be not for everyone. Some might find it rather difficult and give up on the game. I would suggest reading over the instructions before playing

Conclusion:

Offered at $17.95, Brickshooter is a deal for some, but I feel this game is not for everyone. It is fun, challenging, and addictive, offering hours of entertainment. Definitely download the trail first before purchasing.
