In the last decade, music collecting and mixing have practically become extreme sports. Seems like every time we turn around there’s a new technology whose sole purpose is to create a compilation or event soundscape. To the point where we’d begun to get blasé about this particular product universe. We tested Blaze Audio’s new RipEditBurn to see what all the fuss was about. And were pleasantly surprised.
It rips CDs (even copy protected CDs using their Analog Ripping Technology), edits wave, WMA and MP3 files, converts MP3/WMA files to wave and wave files to MP3/WMA and burns custom music CDs with ease, quickly and for a decent price point. It can reduce or even eliminate vocals from recorded music for Karaoke nights. And it allows a PC to “rip” music, actually extracting music directly from the CD in all its pure digital fidelity, and then saves it directly to the hard drive without involving the soundcard at all. The editing module lets the user cut, copy and paste audio, crop out unwanted segments, mix files together, adjust sampling rate and bit depth, add effects such as echo, EQ, chorus and more. It can then be saved to MP3 or exported in WMA and RealAudio formats, or sent to the burning module to create a CD.

Conclusion:

over all good must buy.
