Review:

Now here's a cheap alternative to Dreamweaver. It only took me a few minutes to figure out how to import my images and create some psuedo content. With this program in hand, I recommend having a solid photo editor to ensure strong image quality to make sure that what you want to see is what you get.

I like this program for its ability to take away the tedium of coding run of the mill html when time could be better spent on designing graphics and layouts. However, there were some drawbacks. Importing flash only gives you a place holder and quality is not assured.

I'm a coder at heart and the coding editor was as basic as notepad; Dreamweaver wins big here. And finally, I could not find an easy way to change the doctype without manually coding in the specifications.

Despite the drawbacks as expected from a software that does many of the same things as Dreamweaver at the fraction of the cost, this is a decent peace of software. It utilizes css in its code instead of tables, which I especially applaude, and it gets the job done for people without great technical know-how.

Conclusion:

If you're not willing to hire me to build your website for a modest half a grand or purchase software for comparable in price, take your chances with Site Spinner V2. It offers basic solutions for basic web needs.
