Pros:
Originality; there are so many different games out there nowadays that you are hard pressed to find something original. Although it lacked many different qualities a good game should have, it does have the potential to become something special.
Cons:
Poor graphics. Redundant dungeons and monsters take all the fun out of the game. The design is also poorly executed. Although the game is pitched as an RPG, it lacks any storyline whatsoever and does not give you freedom, which the average RPG would.
Review:

First off, I would like to give this an "A" for originality. You do not see many Role Playing Game(RPG)-themed, action games that revolve around the concept of Scrabble. With that said, this game needs a serious overhaul. I had fun for the first five minutes until I realized I was doing the same thing over and over again; literally.

Do you come into contact with new monsters? Yes. Unfortunately, you also run into a lot of monsters you have previously defeated. I am aware that hiring artist(s) can cost a bundle. A simple way they could have worked around this blemish, which happens a lot when you start out in this area, would be to maximize the potential of the graphics already made.

If they had re-used the graphics of the monsters and slightly adjusted their colors, shading, poses, and so on, it would have allowed the player to feel like they were actually progressing somewhere. I can fully appreciate the interface remaining static, but the artwork of the dungeons as you travel through them should have changed on a level-by-level basis.

Even if those tips were implemented, the game itself still has a long way to go before it can be considered worthy of wearing its $13.45 price tag. The main problem I found wasn't the fun factor, but the game play itself. It is nice to get certain bonus letters, or little chips that help you along the way, but it is lacking in originality for user interaction. Suffice to say, the user interaction is nowhere the originality that the game is based on.

Conclusion:

Unless you're a Scrabble master looking for a dull way to sharpen your skills, you're probably not going to rejoice over this product. If someone put in the time and effort to revolutionize the way this game interacted with the user, it could very well be the next Tetris. Spice things up a bit! The interaction doesn't have to be the same stuffy, old Scrabble board you play on Sundays with your grandma -- God bless her soul -- there are endless possibilities to boost the game play; and yes, that's the only hint I'm going to give you. It is rather unfortunate to say, but this game is the product of a great idea coupled with minimal effort by its designers. The reason why so many great games get thrown into the dollar bin is not because their creators are so obsessed with putting in the necessary time and effort, but they are too focused on making a quick buck. There's a simpler way to get a lot of money for hardly any effort. It's called the lottery. Something inside me says, "Your odds of making it big are better with the ticket than with this game."
