Review:

I am a considerably computer literate person, and I see this program as basically a one-click shortcut to the standard Windows IP Configuration feature. It works just the same as the Windows IP Configuration, only it has a few more features, which are actually extremely convenient given you are in a situation that would utilize them.

To begin, the program installs very simply, there isn't a whole lot of bull crap to deal with just to get it up and running. I installed the program and had it up and running in less than 2 minutes. On top of this I am using Windows Vista, which is of course known to have compatibility issues with lets say...everything. Since it installed flawlessly on Vista, I see that as a plus.

The program itself just works, which pleases me. It's not dumbed down to a ridiculous level, but it also doesn't make things profusely complicated. I am very comfortable working with the interface, and it is straight forward enough to where any person generally familiar with a computer can set their IP configurations up easily.

This program would be excellent to have for a person who owns a laptop. Most of the time the laptop is moved from place to place, network to network. Different networks require different IP configurations, with this program you can easily set up the configuration for each location, label it, and then just click the configuration when you relocate to that specific area.

I gave this product an average rating because it does nothing exclusively spectacular. It changes things as you tell it. I would have been very impressed if it automatically made changes as it sensed the computer was in a new network.

Conclusion:

Very simple, easy to use program. Works just like the Windows IP Configuration, yet has the ability to save the configurations for later, instantaneous recall.
