Good software, after you master it.
It is a little beet expensive, and not so easy at it seams.
Font Creator 5 Home Edition software for creating and editing TrueType and Open Type, correcting existing fonts, or creating new characters.
At first you will find it confusing and it will take time to learn it and start working with it.
With Font Creator 5 you can make you own fonts, I have to say that the software don’t have powerful drawing tool, so you have to edit the separate characters and letters in another drawing program, and then import it.
Font Creator 5 works by converting pictures to an outlines, and enabling you to make fonts from scanned images, your logo’s or your handwriting.
With the editor you can select and modify the character set of any font, open the existing font and correct it or you can modified for your custom needs.
After you done with making or editing the font, you must preview the fonts before using it, so you can avoid mistakes.
Font Creator 5 Home Edition have a good help, where is explained, everything you have to know for mastering the software, but you have to read it first. Also they have online FAQ, forum and email support.
I have to say that if you have time and nerves you will manage to create your custom font, otherwise use it only for editing, correcting and changing existing fonts.
I think that the price for Font Creator 5 is a little higher for what it offers.
It is an average software if you have time to spear, but is it worth the money, I don’t know.
