1)- Well, Graphical interface needs improvement, in today's world, look and feel matters a lot. 2)- Very costly, atleast for me. In this price, they should offer Regenerator for all office documents specially Excel and Powerpoint. 3)- I could not recover my Word 2007 files, so I will say it don't support Word 2007. 4)- There is no help included. Atleast, it should have a good help manual. 5)- Only working mode is to search one entire drive. What if you know the path of document before deletion. In that case, it takes too much time to search entire drive and come up with a lot of documents, out of which you have to choose your required one.
Well, as far as I am concerned, this software is realy helpful. I am a Telecom Engineer and 4 months ago, I was assigned to prepare one guide for Telecom Network O&M. Unfortunately, my windows crashed and I had to format my hard drive.
I tried lots of software to recover my required documents but all came up with some corrupted/damaged document. Then one of my colleague refer me this software. Infact, I got it from him. And WOW, it worked and recovered my lost document without any loss of data and saved me from doing the hardwork of 2 months again.
I have used this tool on my office Laptop running Windows XP, my LAB PC running Windows 2000 Server and my personal Laptop running Windows Vista. It worked on all version of OS smoothly without any compatibility issue.
I realy like this software and since it helped me, I have recommended it to many of my friends.
So, the conclusion is that although the software is too expensive and requires a lot of improvement, it still serves the purpose very well to recover your Word Documents without any damage, corruption (as you may have seen in other tools, data recovered is in some nifty characters) As a result, saves you from doing your already done hardwork again. May save you lsoing your job ... :)
