Review:

one of the most annoying things that I always tend to do is forget things... and I always try to rely on gadgets and alarms to help me remember doing those things... so as most people do, I also write notes and stick them onto my monitor, but with time I hate the look of my desk due to the clutter from all those annoying papers... one solution was to look into software that can help me do the same by placing notes on my screen and even if I forgot to pay attention to them... when the time is right, it will ring a bell and remind me to look again. This software does that exactly.

with a nice feature called "slide" - which is a small button located instead of the "maximize/restore" button on the top right corner - it gives you the power to gather all your notes to the right side of the screen... why I liked that? Because I hate the notes when they fill up my screen just as much as I hated the paper notes filling my desk and monitor. and above all, the shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + H" which is called "hotkey" although difficult to remember after some time, but comes handy in making all those notes hide from the screen while keeping the alarm ready to remind you...

From the bad side, I noticed a typo error in the program interface - Time is typed as Tlme - which I think should be reviewed. also alarm intervals does not give you the chance to choose days from the week to be alarmed, it only gives you daily, weekly, monthly, ... etc.

Privacy is one feature that is a must especially when you put some personal notes. the program gives you the ability to put a password on your notes by clicking on the privacy button located on the lower left corner, but to use it you should first set your a password, restart the program and then it is active!!! This is poor programming. I tried it for 5 minutes and tried to figure out why once I put the privacy on one note and minimize it, it is gone, I cannot open it again... until I restarted the program and then the password worked fine!!! why do i need to restart a program when changing an option!!!

Note colors are nice and realistic as the ordinary once giving you the look and feel of the regular sticky notes. I especially liked the look and feel of a restored note after deleting it... it looked like a really crumbled paper... nice touch.

Conclusion:

good software that do the trick. write it, stick it, remember it. especially with the alarm feature it is an effective way to remember things instead of keeping all those little scraps all over your monitor or desk. simple to organise notes into categories. quick in finding lost or unseen notes. the ability to restore deleted notes is excellent.
