Pros:
Advanced features are a very nice addition over many others, like the default Windows defragmenting program.

It is very expensive. I do not imagine many users really need a product such as this.
Review:

O&O Defrag professional is a product with highs and lows. Firstly you may not realize this but the standard defrag tool that comes with Windows XP is not complete in any sense of the word. It does not support the many features features of O&O, not even close.

For a start, O&O, unlike the default, supports defragmenting in many different ways like "stealth", "space", "complete/name", "complete/modified" and finally "complete/access". What this means is that you have a lot more options to choose, these options are used to defragment in different ways, grouping data on your Hard Drive in altering forms. For example "complete/modified" arranges data according to the date the data was last modified, so this can dramatically speed up performance if you use applications over and over.

These features are no doubt a great addition, but there are many more. The UI (User Interface) is clean and easy to use, the program is rock stable and it runs pretty fast. The interface is very much like using Windows explorer so may be nice for new users.

Sounds good?... well, not entirely, there are lows. It depends on your circumstances, for general users the default Windows defragmenter is absolutely fine, you may not require the extra features that O&O offers. On the other hand it is a great product for advanced users, administrators or people who want to try something different. For these kinds of people I would recommend it. Also the program is very much on the expensive side considering what it does. You must first ask if this program is necessary for you, only you can make that decision.

Conclusion:

If you are not an advanced user don't bother, just a waste of money, however, administrators etc may find the extra options and features a nice touch.
