Review:

1st thing I noticed was the visual aspect. I enjoyed the color schemes and it gave be a good idea of how bad my drives were fragmented and it actually made me feel as if it was actually doing something. It was active so I could view ho wmuch was being defragmented at a nice updated pace.
I like the legend very much too because it allowed the user to change the colors. The Pie Chart on the left also helped visually with seeing how much of a percentage I had left with my Hard Drives.
Windows Deframenter just didn't do the trick visually.

Another thing I liked about the program is it showed me what files were fragmented and where the fragment started at in the right cluster. The tabs under Volume Information had the right details for what I was looking for. CPU LOAD, Fragmented Area (%), Bytes per Sector all in the program without me having to look elsewhere for that information.

I like the Space and the Stealth Method idea. I have a couple hard drives split into 5 partitions. The biggest being 250 GB. The space method was selected accordingly and it didn't use too much of my CPU to Defrag as sometimes Diskeeper Pro would. To also be able to run chkdsk from it made it feel like an all-in-one program as opposed to others that I've used before. The ability to change the columns was pretty neat. I haven't used Windows Defragmenter in a while and Diskeeper Pro doesn't allow you to change to columns to have the amount of detail O&O Defrag V8 Professional Edition provides.

O&O ActivityGuard Pro is a nice feature because it allows one to control the percentage of system resources alloted to O&O Defrag Pro. It can be selected to automatically detremine what's best, use all resources, or have a specified percentage.

Like Diskeeper, it had some "Set IT and Forget IT" job scheduling mechanisms. Being a 24 hour geek, it helps out a little, but i don't ever turn off my computer, so that wouldn't have worked out (and I hate restarting).

Conclusion:

Overall, it doesn't lack anything Windows does... It has more to love, but also more that would confuse the average user. I wish it had an MFT defragmenter or something that helped my page file. If it did, I couldn't find it. I'm a little more than an average user so I would know where to locate it. It seems professional. I don't know if I'd be willing to pay for it because the price in kind of high, however, you do get what you pay for with this program.
