BrickShooter Review

I downloaded this game during my lunch break at work just for a quick challenge, but was quickly dissapointed. It seems there are hundreds of these small puzzlers selling on the net these days, from the addictive World Of Goo to these piece of fustrating garbage.

If you do choose to play these game, i would urge you to read the help files as it is rather hard to cotton onto what your actually supposed to be doing. At first you'll find yourself hovering over the New Game button (which doesn't really work due to poor interfacing) and often there won't seem to be any real possible solutions. However one good thing about the game is that the more you play it, the more solutions to come clear, however, for me this didn't make it any funner or addictive as i would expect most puzzlers to be.

The interface is, simply put, shocking. When i first started up the game i thought i'd downloaded some adware or similar, there's no style or even attempt to make it easy to use. In game you have buttons that don't actually work and a constant reminder that you haven't yet bought the game, although this was to be fair, to be expected.

The graphics are again poor, with no fun or birance colours of the bigger games such as Peggle, and the music is distinctly odd.

The Price tag is simply rediculous, noone should have to buy this, its worse than most games you can find on a free flash site!
Use my advice and go back to tetris!
