Review:

Dungeon Scroll is the kind of game that combines the look of the old classic games like Eye of The Beholder to work with the idea from a game like "hangman" or similar word-games. The name of the game is so lame it reminds me of old horror movies. More imagination perhaps?

In the game your idea is to get through a set of dungeons fighting enemies by throwing word-"spells" at them. First you will encounter small things like rats and skeletons with only some hit points.
Later on, the opponents get harder.
You also find treasures from the corpses of the enemies and special letters that make your spells more powerful.

You toss out your spells by creating words from the letters you get at the beginning of the dungeon. The length of the word determines how much damage you do and you can only use the same word once.
You might get more letters from killing your enemies too.

The game is definately best suited to those that are highly fluent in english or are native speakers, as the game gets pretty hard later on if you're not.

All in all, it's a fun small game to try, but I wouldn't spend money on a game like this. It's fun for some minutes, but gets old and repetitive very fast. You'd be better off playing hangman on a chalk-board in school than playing this.

Conclusion:

You'll have a lot better options to spend your time, but it's fun for 10-15 minutes.
