Pros:
Simple navigation, can convert in batches, can convert to various types of files.
Cons:
Converting can take considerably long and may slow down the computer so no other processes can be run.
Review:

I have been using WinAvi for a long time now and have found it very reliable. It can convert files to DVD format or to other specified formats available e.g. RM, AVI etc. Compared to other media conversion software products this one beats them in price and getting the job done properly however lacks in performance time.

Using WinAvi is incredibly easy as everything is laid out for you. One of the great things i like about this is that you can convert files in batches so that you don’t have to consistently load up files and convert, you only need to do it once.

Unfortunately when running WinAvi the computers resources are focused on converting the files and so anything running in the background would be slow.

Conclusion:

WinAvi is a good piece of software, i would recommend it although it does tend to slow down the computer.
