The ability to export your animations in a number of formats which makes it easier to integrate CrazyTalk generated animations in your videos, animations etc.
The lack of flexibility that is necessary for professional animation and large-scale projects.
Let me clarify certain things before I embark upon reviewing the product. CrazyTalk does not offer the kind of usability that is required for professional animation so you are better off with other options available commercially.
The interface is simple but it may take you long to figure it out if you are not acclimatized to multimedia packages in general. Nonetheless, you are just a few simple clicks away from a full-scale and professional looking opus of an animation. All you have to do is open up a picture, place ear, nose and eye markers as suited and let CrazyTalk work its magic.
One thing that I found particularly interesting about the software is the ability to export your animations in a variety of formats. It is specially useful when you want to include CrazyTalk generated animations in your videos etc.
Newer versions of CrazyTalk also allow you to use the pictures that you animate as your avatars in various instant messaging clients.
You can add computer generated speech to your animation or record directly from the microphone. Beware, though, that your picture will also respond to background noise if it is too loud.
CrazyTalk is excellent for day to day foolery but still, it does not offer the kind of services that you could employ with reference to making Hollywood movies.
