Review:

Brick Shootout - A puzzle game where you have to try to match up three blocks or more of the same color in the center of the board. You can fire from four directions as long as the block makes contact with another block in the center and stays here. It's a simple puzzle game which can be done over and over until you get bored. Unfortunately, I got bored in a matter of minutes.

I can't say the interface was bad, but it wasn't exactly the greatest either. It seemed to be lacking in the organization department. Also, as I played I was very confused about the tabs with "Next" and "Prev" as they seemed to do absolutely nothing. Also, when you first start the game I was under the impression you had to click the little clock the top left corner in order to change the amount of colors you had. Taking me an extra minute or two to figure out otherwise.

Addictive? For a minute or two I was enjoying it. But I didn't get much excitement from Brick Shootout like I do from classic puzzle games you can get for free or much cheaper than eighteen bucks. For example, the classic Tetris, or the somewhat new World of Goo.

Help? There was a little help file, giving ways to contact them and a how to play guide.. But really, for a game like that, who is going to go through the trouble of contacting them? Instead, they should have a list of common problems they list there with a solution to them. Perhaps an FAQ.

Conclusion:

Overall, to anyone reading this review, I recommend you DON'T pay eighteen dollars for a game like this when there are much more challenging and fun puzzle games on the Internet for free.
