Review:

A clock, I thought. Actually, ANOTHER clock, I thought. Enough with the widgets and wadgets clogging my monitor's real estate. But you don't know if you don't try, and I'm glad I did.

Easy to install, easy to uninstall, looks great (Vista), no hangups. I like an organized, junk-free working area and this clock fit right in. It's ticking away right now showing me what the time is at home in NY, while my assistants work in Bangalore, as I relax in a cafe in Spain.

But seriously, it is a well-designed piece of work. Within a few minutes of tinkering, I had everything customized exactly the way I thought it should be. The design is intuitive and direct, without sacrificing fun options.

As you learn a new piece of software, it's sometimes tricky to find the right box to click to make the thing do what you have in mind. With ZoneTick, everything is right where it should be and took me no more than 15 seconds to figure out a tricky bit.

Conclusion:

I'd recommend this to pretty much anyone. At $20 it may be a touch pricey, but the design(ers) did solid work and deserve a few extra bucks for their effort. Looks good, easy to use, full of options - it's a good clock.
