Review:

Stickynote is an effective program for leaving yourself notes on the computer. The program looks very nice, and is simple to use. So what does the program do? Well, it allows you to leave yourself notes and task reminders. However, there are a ton of very similar free alternatives out there. If you use Windows Vista, there is a sidebar application that comes standard with the operating system that is every bit as effective. There are countless applications out there in cyberspace that are just like and they are free. I do not mean to make it sounds as thought this program is not well done...it is. It is just not innovative enough to justify spending around $20 to use. While it does have some cool features (adjustable looks, the ability to send the notes over the internet), the wow factor is not there and there are some notable drawbacks such as the fact that the notes are not re sizable and that the program must be running at all times, eating up RAM (albeit a small amount). Overall, if you need a note program for your computer, you can probably find one elsewhere for free that works just as well. The price is a bit steep and so is the competition.

Conclusion:

Sticknote is a nice looking package that can be found in clones over the internet for much cheaper or even free. There are much worse options, but there are also much better ones.
