After just a few hours I was able to get the hang of it. It is guite simple to use and yet it can do things that other programs I have tried cannot. The WYSIWYG editor is great for someone like me who knows what they want but doesn't know the HTML to get it.
Adding Flash, multimedia and scripting languages is quite difficult with SiteSpinner (not that it's easier without it or with other tools, but I consider it a con).
It’s safe to say that SiteSpinner V2 is one of the easiest HTML editors available. Personally, I like it much better than DreamWeaver or FrontPage. Adding text and images is easy: just click the object on the toolbar and select a space on your webpage to create the object.
The program comes with 30 templates and permits you to custom-create your own buttons, banners, logos and almost anything you can imagine for your webpage. The program also includes an excellent text editor, a spell checker and a good assortment of other tools.
On a rudimentary level, SiteSpinner acts exactly like Site Builder or Front Page in that it can start a user out with a respectable choice of basic templates that can be altered to create whatever page style is desired.
It also can be set to automatically use the FTP protocol to handle all of the uploading and downloading chores that go in to creating files, and then transferring them, along with supporting elements like photos, music and animations, to one's Web server.
SiteSpinner’s layout page features both grid lines and tabs if you need an extra hand laying out your web page. Both features can be individually cut on or off to suit your personal preferences. Continuous upper corner pixel counting helps you align any item to the exact pixel location on the page.
SiteSpinner is designed for anyone to use. It doesn't matter if you are an experienced designer or a beginner, you can design your own site and be proud to show it to the world.
