3D Live Snooker Review
3d live Snooker, a little gem that suprised me
You can buy it at RegNow for that price.
environment, attention to details like the angle of the cue stick when hitting the cue ball, realistic ball collision
lags when you have a messenger on, only thing that proved to be a problem.
From the point you see the "green lawn" of the snooker table, to the chairs, bottles , and dart boards , the environment feels really inviting. I find this really important , and like the idea that the creators took the time to add these things.
I have never played snooker , but I like to play pool. And I can say this game has a really good physics model. Balls fly where they should and how they should.
The angles are great , because sometimes you need the cue ball on a strategic position, for the next shot. The computer difficulty is good
and adaptable . Which ensures I wont be playing against Ronnie O'Sullivan . As all things in life , you need to start from the start. You don't need a sadistic computer to bust your will to be the best snooker player. =)
Help is short and to the point , you see the controls, and the rules. Everything needed to play the game. The rules are in the manual, which is kinda short, and I am a real manual freak , and I adore how to guides. But I guess internet is so rich with snooker information that it doesn't matter that much.
The game start easily , and fast. There seems a problem with the game, when you have a windows live messenger on. When you get a notification that someone is online the game start to lag big time. I mean you need to shut down the messenger. A little problem no biggie as I use messenger sparingly .
A very small game that hooks you right on, and you find yourself wasting hours and hours . But then, why shouldn't you?
