I have tried several free photo manipulation programs and online image editors like GIMP, Paint.net and pixlr. They provide the same features which are available in Paintbuster, but they are free. Paintbuster is more of a casual image editor unlike Photoshop which provides more professional and advanced features.
The Software interface is simple, user friendly even a newbie can learn the tools and techniques easily. Since I have used other photo editing tools, I can use it with ease because the layout and icons resemble most of them.I have tried most of the features on my works and they are fast to apply on. Once you get used to this software you love it.
It cannot support platforms like Linux, Windows 7.More over they are still fixing the bugs under Vista.
Overall, It is mainly intended for beginners for performing Casual tasks and performs without disappointment. The quality of the output is appreciable. The price is too much for the features they provide. They need to add features or reduce the price to be compete.
If you like to have a simple and easy to learn image editing tool to fulfill your basic needs, its the right product for you. Its not a killer product.
