Review:

To start with, Daniusoft has done excellent job in DVD ripping. The DVD Ripper is of world class and it offers more than DVD Ripping.

This has a very good appearance and very pleasing to the eyes.
This has very good HTML help just enough to do DVD ripping without any hassles for a beginner. It outputs more than 100 formats. I hope not all would know what each type is. Just a bit of explanation on each format, would be an added plus point.

The option of selecting the chapters that we need is amazing and estimated output file size is also good. Quality of the output file is as expected. There is a minor degradation in the output quality when any edit settings are applied to the video.

There are few minor things which need to be added/modified in the software to rock the market.

  1. There is no option to select/deselect all the titles of an DVD. By default it comes with all selected. When you want to select only one title/chapter, you need to manually deselect one by one.
  2. No option to apply the edit settings made in one title/chapter to all the titles/chapters. Suppose if I want to add a watermark, I need to change the edit settings for each title
  3. Only one option to take snapshot of the video i.e. the file type, JPG or BMP. Some more options could be an added advantage

Most importantly,
I also tried the product Daniusoft DVD to mp4, which almost similar to Daniusoft DVD Ripper except for reduced output options. There are also similar products available under Daniusoft DVD softwares.

When DVD Ripper with almost all the options are priced at 39.95, the other subset programs should not be charged with such high values. Suppose if I'm interested in DVD to mp4 conversion alone, I would think again to pay around 30, when I get a product (of course from the same vendor) with more options for an amount little higher than 30. Some might not consider this product at all, for not being proportionate on features and prices across the products.

Conclusion:

Worth to pay for it. Excellent product.
