Review:

Aqua real is probably the most realistic aquarium simulator I have ever come across. The 'fish' move so realistic you could almost mistake them for real, superimposed fish. Going to great lengths to simulate real fish, Formosoft's hard work is not in vain.

The 'aquarium', however, is not perfect. Whilst managing to get every aspect of the SWIMMING fish looking realistic the quick, sharp, shooting moves that the 'fish' make when eating food for example, just looks out of place. Being an owner of a few goldfish, I know that the real fish actually do these darting moves when they need to reach out quickly or even to get away from something and it is sudden but it fits. The same cannot be said for the 'fish' in Aqua Real. The sudden, jerking movement not only looks out of place but it also gives your screen the appearance of lag. It just appears to me that the 'fish'do a small teleport or something when they eat the food.

The extras things to do in Aqua Real are brought to you in a kind of 'feature set', as it has been called, and it brings in a whole batch of goodies to fiddle around with. You can set up a light colour sequence for your aquarium using an easy-to-use colour pallet. If you order the full version, you get lots more such as the ability to play music for your fish. You have more fish to choose from.

With so many fun fishy things to do, Aqua Real really gets you 'hooked'.

Conclusion:

Aqua real is the most realistic aquarium simulator and is almost as good as the real thing. Highly recommended!
