Sometimes can be slower while fixing. A little scary looking(eep!)
This is an excellent program, and does it's job very well. I work in a bank with around 60 branches with about 20 computers each, and often a harddrive will die. This program has fixed ALOT of these harddrives long enough to get important data off of the drive, sometimes even fixing the drive enough for us to re-use it again.
Yes, it is a mite expensive, but think about it this way, how important is the data that your drive stores? Do you plan on owning computers for a long time? Because, if you buy this program, it can be used for quite a while, just to be there when you truely need it.
I have often seen drives with a bad sector INSIDE the partition table, making the whole drive useless. We ran this program, and in about 30 minutes that problem harddrive was quite useable. We copied all of the mission-critical data, and put it back in production. That was about 5 months ago.
Overall, this is truely a life saving program that i would recommend to anyone. It sometimes takes it's time, taking up to 8 hours to fix a really bad problem, but often comes out with a working hard drive. Kudos to Mr Dmitriy for a well programmed program.
