Review:

A screen saver is technically a software routine that prevents individual cells in a screen from burning out.
Early attempts screensavers were simply filling the screen with random colored bodies which did just that. Efficient but crude.
This brings us to the Aqua Real Screensaver. Beautifully animated, with tons of customization features it makes for a great past view. You can choose from several types of fish, customize bubbles and light, or use your own mp3's for music and your own pictures for backgrounds.
What I liked most was the Desktop mode. If you want your desktop to feel like an aquarium, you want it to feel like an aquarium at all times, not only after you're away for at least a minute.
Now for the bad part. While the fish are beautiful, some may want to add some more aquatic critters. Like a starfish or one of those ugly snails that add to realism. Secondly, user-fish interaction could be improved. What I liked most when I had a real water tank was how the fish would follow my index across the glass. Maybe, if that would have been implemented I would have been a lot more impressed.
As for the price tag I have to say that it is quite... well... high. 16.95$ at discount is still a bit too much for a screensaver. Desktop Mode compensates a bit but not enough to make this little piece of software a must have.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, if you love yourself some "fishscreen" go ahead and get this. It will relax you to watch the screen while taking a break from work or from gaming.
