Review:

Gutterball 2 is one of the best bowling games i have played in recent years mostly because of its simplicity ,nice graphics and great entertainment value.

The ball is controled using the mouse .You first have to position it and flick upwards to get the ball rolling .Once on the bowling lane you control the balls movement by turning the mouse left or right in order to best hit the pins.

There is quite a bit of variety so you can choose from 25 types of balls to find the one that is perfect for you. However some balls are locked and you need to earn points in order to unlock them which is a welcomed twist to the game.

There are also 5 lanes to choose from so you won't get stuck playing in the same worn out classic bowling alley for the entire game. You can choose to play in the jungle ,an asian theme bowling alley and two others.

The graphics are quite well done (it won't give you the impression that you're on a real bowling alley but then again the game is not meant to do that)

Some areas of improvement are the music which is nice at first but becomes repetitive and annoying from a certain point and the commentators who speak each time you strike or screw up and who start to say the same things over and over.

Also the fact that you can play against the computer ,with a friend or alone ads much needed variety because the amount of content does not really match the price very well.

Conclusion:

If you are ready to ignore the little imperfections of the game Gutterball 2 will provide you with hours of time killing fun .
