Pros:
You can try it absolutely free. That's the only I can think of.

The information is presented in very incomprerensible manner. It's too generic and does not make a lot of sense.
Review:

I did not get it. I really didn’t. The software description says “You don't need to be a professional astrologer to use Horoscope Explorer.” Well, that may be true, in a sense that generating the report is easy. Basically, you enter your name, date of birth, time of birth and place of birth.

The very cool thing is that they have almost every large city in over 200 countries listed. So that part was simple. However, the results I got are confusing. I expected that I’d get a forecast for the coming year or maybe a couple page description of what’s ahead. But that’s not what I got. What I got is this. My lucky number is 4. Good numbers are 5,6,8.

My evil numbers (whatever this means) are 1 and 3. Now, that’s ironic, since I was born on April the 13th. My lucky hears are 13, 22, 31, 40, 49. I don’t recall anything luck happening when I was 13 or 22. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. Then there is some information on good and evil planets.

Also, silver is supposed to be my lucky metal and my lucky stone is pearl. My lucky time is evening and lucky direction is north-west (that’s where I live).

No, I understand that horoscopes are for entertainment but this information isn’t very entertaining. I also got 9 pages of terms I can’t understand, like my “Vadra is Shudra” or that my “Tatwa is Agni”. My guess is that in fact you do need to be a professional astrologer to make sense of all that stuff.

Oh wait, just when I was writing this review, I did find a “general prediction” option, which is hidden at the very end (that’s some very poor interface design). Unfortunately, the program does not let you copy and paste text (you have to print it), but let me say that I was very unimpressed.

Conclusion:

If you are into astrology, you may try it out. But keep in mind that this is Vedic Astrology, so there are bunch of terms that mean nothing to people who weren't born in India.
