Pros:
Synchromat is file and folder synchronization software for Windows.Synchromat uses innovative algorithms to synchronize your data between desktop PCs, laptops, USB drives, flash keys, MP3 players, digital cameras and more. Synchromat combines bulletproof reliability with an extremely easy-to-use interface.
Cons:
Error handling is not clearly explained.Cost is some a little high.No mac or linux version only windows users can enjoy it. Need more documentation about the product.
Review:

File synchronization is commonly used for home backups on external hard drives or updating for transport on USB flash drives. The automatic process prevents copying already identical files and thus can save considerable time from a manual copy, also being faster and less error prone. However this suffers from the limitation that the synchronized files have to physically fit in the portable drive. Synchronization software that only keeps a list of files and the changed files circumvents this problem (e.g. the "snapshot" feature in Beyond Compare or the "package" feature in Synchronize It!). It is particularly useful for mobile workers, or others that work on multiple computers. It is possible to synchronize multiple locations by synchronizing them a pair at a time.Encryption for security, particularly when synchronizing across the Internet. Compressing any data sent across a network, this requires a server. Conflict detection where a file has been modified on both sources, as opposed to where it has only been modified on one. No conflict detection can lead to overwriting copies of the file with the most recent version causing data loss. For conflict detection, the synchronization software needs to keep a database of the synchronized files. Distributed conflict detection can be achieved by version vectors.Open Files Support ensures data integrity when copying data or application files that are in-use or database files that are exclusively locked. Specific support for using an intermediate storage device, such as a removable flash disc, to synchronize two machines. Although most synchronizing programs can be used in this way, providing specific support for this can reduce the amount of data stored on the device. The ability to preview any changes before they are made. The ability to view differences in individual files.
To synchronize folders (directories) means to create or delete folders in synchronization-partner locations to match the user's actions in one of those locations. The same algorithm is used to synchronize folders (directories) as is used to synchronize files. Files within a folder are synchronized independently of the folder itself.
Folder attributes are copied when Synchromat creates a folder on another device. However, unlike most folder backup programs, this synch software doesn't copy attributes if both the source and target folders already exist. There are tools available for file synchronization, version control (CVS, Subversion, etc.), distributed filesystems (Coda, etc.), and mirroring (rsync, etc.), in that all these attempt to keep sets of files synchronized. However, only version control and file synchronization tools can deal with modifications to more than one copy of the files.
File synchronization is commonly used for home backups on external hard drives or updating for transport on USB flash drives. The automatic process prevents copying already identical files and thus can save considerable time from a manual copy, also being faster and less error prone.
Version control tools are intended to deal with situations where more than one person wants to simultaneously modify the same file, while file synchronizers are optimized for situations where only one copy of the file will be edited at a time. For this reason, although version control tools can be used for file synchronization, dedicated programs require less overhead.
Distributed filesystems may also be seen as ensuring multiple versions of a file are synchronized. This normally requires that the devices storing the files are always connected, but some distributed file systems like Coda allow disconnected operation followed by reconciliation. The merging facilities of a distributed file system are typically more limited than those of a version control system because most file systems do not keep a version graph.
Mirroring: A mirror is an exact copy of a data set. On the Internet, a mirror site is an exact copy of another Internet site. Mirror sites are most commonly used to provide multiple sources of the same information, and are of particular value as a way of providing reliable access to large downloads.Synchronization can also be useful in encryption, by synchronizing Public Key Servers.

Conclusion:

Synchromat is the Best program. Intuitive Design, and function The interface is intuitive and instructive. It is a powerful tool for backup data with little effort by selecting options properly. Especially for the cost of the license, this is fantastic.
