Pros:
Nice and easy to use GUI, making it one of the most accessible encryption solutions on the market. Price is OK. A trial version is available to try. Access to encrypted data is relatively fast.
Cons:
Not as feature rich as other encryption software solutions, i.e. TrueCrypt. Freeware solutions are available that do just as good a good as Cryptainer.
Review:

Cryptainer PE creates virtual drives. The data on these virtual drives is encrypted and password protected. The so-called containers can be up to 25GB big, a convenient size that allows relatively quick access to encrypted files.
Files that require encryption can be simply dragged and dropped into these "file-containers".
It can be used to encrypt data on various media. I've encrypted data on USB drives and hard disks, but data encryption on Flash Disks, Memory Sticks, CD ROM's/DVD's is supposed to be possible too.

I've come across different encryption software thus far. Cryptainer PE by Cypherix is not necessarily the solution with the most features, but it is certainly easier to use than the feature rich and open-source solution TrueCrypt.
Cryptainer PE is the ideal solution for private users who just need something that gives them a reasonable level of security.
For all those who are more experienced with encryption or more concerned with data security, I'd recommend TrueCrypt.

Conclusion:

Cryptainer PE is the ideal solution for private users who just need something that gives them a reasonable level of security. For all those who are more experienced with encryption or more concerned with data security, I'd recommend TrueCrypt.
