Pros:
Interesting concept, OK graphics, fast-paced.
Cons:
More arcade-style that strategic, a funny in-game radio station might have helped the game.
Review:

Youdagames offers one more exciting, addictive, if somewhat short, game called Youda Marina. It's a strategy / arcade game that has players build up a marina from scratch and advance in rank and complete objectives in the given timeframe.

The game has a nice overhead 2D view and is time-based (as opposed to turn based). The main objective is to build docks where ships park, but also to entertain guests and complete the given objectives. The game offers you the choice of specializing in different boat sizes or on trying to satisfy customers of all ship sizes.

The challenge is to build as many docks in a limited space as possible, in order to satisfy the wishes of the customers. Customers can choose to dock, or not, depending on the price of your docking space. If you ask a passenger that has refused your offer once, for a second time - he will usually accept to dock, or may sometimes refuse and cost you reputation points.

This brings us to a very important aspect of the game - it's difficulty. The game difficulty is generally quite easy and does not require a lot of strategic thinking. Also, advancements in the game seem quite shallow, without giving much more reward that bigger ship size support and different building types.

Also, there is never the issue of lack of money and all objectives are simply geared at having more and more of it, which is great, but somewhat unrealistic.

Conclusion:

Youda Marina is an interesting game, but a bit short. Advancing in the game is very fast, it's pretty addictive - but only till the first game ends.
