Review:

This is a very lightweight video conversion program. Small download with simple installation. The user interface is easy enough to understand that a novice computer user can easily user this program to quickly convert video files with professional results, yet robust enough that expert users have more advanced settings, features and formats they can deploy in the conversion.
This program leaves a light footprint on the system. While converting a 700mb video, it only uses 25% of the CPU, and 30MB of ram, so on long conversions, your PC isn't tied down for 1-2 hours while you wait. An example of how lightweight this is, the average Windows Mail application uses 50-60MB of ram.
Users are able to convert the most common file types available such as AVI, MP4, 3GP, MPEG, VOB, MOV, WMV, FLV, plus have the ability to extract the audio only from the videos. What this means is if you want to convert a movie so you can play on your iPod or iPhone, there is a setting just for that purpose, no guessing.
Another great feature that brings this application above others is it gives an advanced display of the videos properties. Meaning you can see the details such as aspect ratios, audio format and frequency, frame size and frame rate. This is important for people merging video clips, in movie making programs. Also helps advanced users know to what level they can output the conversions to.
In the few video conversions I tried, the overall output was great, no loss in video or sound quality.
There are a couple downsides, first the trial only does the first 20% of a video. If I'm going to spend $27 on a program, I want to make sure its going to be able to handle the 2GB videos I want to convert. The company does offer a money back guarantee, but thats just a hassle. Second issue I had was the very first video I tried converting, the sample conversion was distorted. I tried a few different output formats, and it just could not convert it properly. But, that is why you have a trial, as now I know that if all I'm going to be converting is this type of video, its not going to work.

Conclusion:

Overall, this is a very good conversion program, especially for the price.
