Review:

I rarely like a game from Youdagames studio. Usually they use beaten up motifs and attract you by various vidgets like 3d models or sometimes an interesting setting. But that game, Rail of War, really got my interest picked. To the point of replaying it again and again. The basics are simple- there is war, and there is train to support and deliver. And you are an engine driver- a little gear in machine of war. You get various tasks and a train to operate. Usual stuff.
The whole concept of trains is rarely met in flash games, and you certainly should not miss a chance to familiarize yourself with that one. Especially since the graphics in Rail of War are nice. The use rusty colors and overhead view to give you a nice atmosphere. During your assignements you will travel over various places-plains, snow hills and even border of desert. And there is no BGM, a nice touch. The missions can get hard and frustrating with bulldozers trying to push you off path so be prepared. There are not much of such hardships and the game is beatable.
For a game with clearly timid budget, Rail of War is holding firmly, getting a top of what it can allow, and not trying to squeeze more and fail.
The game clearly has big price. Perhaps too much for such game. You will get yourself 3 powerfull trains in full version. But I've beaten that game with Bullfrog and do not advice you to spend your money. It even adds some challenge.

Conclusion:

A nice game to spend your evening. It doesn't pretend to grab stars from sky and gives you an enjoyable experience.
