Review:

This game does a good job of being fun and educational at the same time. There are two modes, a Scenic mode and Express.

The Scenic mode is a lazy trip, you fill up the train with the puzzle pieces, flipping them to fit odd-shaped spaces and get to see a photo of the area. The pictures are beautiful and information on the towns is included in the game, which makes it mildly entertaining.

Express mode is for those who get bored with the Scenic side of things. A more frenetic race to fill all the cars, it adds enough action to the game to keep it exciting.

With click and drop puzzle pieces, this is a lot easier than a real-life puzzle, but it gets old after a while, which is why it´s nice to have the Express mode!

Tips are offered throughout the game and help is very easy to use. Although Puzzle Express is extremely user friendly and doesn´t need much of a tutorial, they provide pop-up hints every so often to make sure you don´t lose your way. There is a great help menu as well, fully illustrated so kids could easily use it.

Conclusion:

Good for the younger set, but unless you really enjoy puzzles, older players won´t stay entertained for very long.
