Review:

The download and installation of this program was as user friendly as I've seen. The wizard takes you through the steps and no computer restart is required to get it working. (I like that)

The program is well laid out, there are four large icons offering you privacy settings, a complete and customizable erase, a task scheduler (that I wasn't able to figure out right away), and a drive wipe. Beware the drive wipe I think I almost formatted my "C" drive...not good but more of a user problem on my part.

I used the program to completely erase all the free space on my hard drive and found that I had go find something else to do for a couple of hours. Fortunately, if you know specifically what you want to erase it only takes a few brief moments. It's one of those things that you would either maintain every day or leave your computer on for a couple of hours at night once a week or so. The task scheduller is beneficial in this regard.

This program not only deletes files but completely erases them from whatever drive you selected (Floppy, Hard drive or RW) Once it's gone its gone. you'll never find it again. You'll probably find your computer a lot more responsive after the erasure too.

The trial version is available for a 15 day period at which time you'll have to pay 45.00USD to keep it. If you really don't want your boss, wife or both for that matter to see what you're doing this program will afford you that much. Oh yeah...it will keep all your personal information from those nasty con artists too. If I had the money I'd buy it but there are others out there for less.

Conclusion:

Nice program. A definite asset for business applications. If you're a serious home user you might like it too if you're ready to pay for it.
