Great interface, authentic Egyptian locales, easy gameplay
Plain music
Anthing that has even a hint of Egypt in it, I tend to hate. It's a bad quality that I should have ironed out but sadly have avoided thus far! So when I decided to review this game, I was more than a bit concerned for the game and for me. Gladly, Luxor 2 has destroyed my preassumptions of the game and what a game it turned out to be!
Let's start of with the graphics: Wow! They're really, really good and quickly impressed me. The amount of effects used in the game is quiet large and tehy're all used very well. The menu is also Egyptian style, which is a nice up and the colored balls are a satisfying target to hit!
The music of the game is Egyptian standard tunes which is a bit cliched but suits the style of game it's in. Although not brillaint, there are some nice chimes when you recieve treasure that I personally quite like!
The gameplay for Luxor 2 is basic, simple and benefits because of it. Shotoing similar colored balls at each other is simple and satisfying. Although the game doesnt have a great deal of depth, nevertheless, it's a great game to waste some time with!
Luxor 2 is more than worthy of your $18, try it today!
