Review:

Will Set conquer Egypt with his magical Spheres of Doom? The object of Luxor is to stop that from happening. Keep the ball rolling by lining up three or more spheres of the same color to keep them from reaching the Pyramids.

I had seen ads for Luxor before and had dismissed it as just another flash game. I had played similar games and enjoyed them. However, Luxor's graphics and sound effects were far superior. It was like the balls were actually made of papyrus.

The scarab's movements were a little tricky at times, when it comes to aiming, but that's probably because I'm used to a fixed firing point in similar games.

While I thought it was a lot of fun and would pay for a copy, I think the asking price of 17.95 is a little steep, especially, when there are free versions available. I'm going to hold out for the discount rack on this one.

Conclusion:

Fun game, but overpriced. I'd probably waste a lot of time playing this.
