BrickShooter is a game in which you try to match block colors. Four walls hold different-colored bricks, and you select blocks to send to the center. The bricks move while you choose them, but if you set up the middle formation so three or more bricks of the same color touch, they disappear. You get 1 point for every brick that disappears; clear the board and you get 250 points.

Note from the site owner: I played this game for the trial period and I almost had a heart attack when the trial expired - no more BrickShooter! I had to buy it that day - this game is excellent. Great graphics, easy to use, great brain exercise and it has never crashed. When you buy it, you can save games, which adds another dimension. I'm currently on level 166 and I can't see myself getting bored with it any time soon. More games like this please!

A Surprisingly Addictive and Original Puzzle game

By Pandariffic on Wed, 2008-05-21 09:30
Pros: Pleasing (if minimalist) graphics, simple, intuitive controls, inventive gameplay with plenty of challenge.
Cons: Poor music, not a whole lot of depth or gameplay options, many may find later stages overly difficult
The concept behind Brickshooter is similar to that of many other puzzle games: match up blocks to get points. While it would be easy to create another Tetris or Columns rip-off, the developers chose...

More challenging than Tetris!

By organicchic on Tue, 2008-05-13 17:33
Pros: Colorful graphics, easy point and click control, offers help menu, and a variety of options during game play including game saving and timer. More challenging the Tetris!
Cons: A poor assortment of music, but you can turn it off in your options menu. Does not offer hints, and is difficult.
At first I thought, Brickshooter's concept is similar to games like Tetris, but I quickly found out that is not the case. It is definitely more challenging than Tetris. My first attempt at...

Not quite a killing

By Texticular on Mon, 2008-05-12 03:11
Pros: Fun and easy to pick up on. Simple controls and interfaces makes it easy to play.
Cons: It lacks depth of any sort and makes the money feel wasted.
Brick shooter is a alright game, but it could be much better. The game also wants you to put alot of thought into your moves and requires you to get three bricks together. The most enjoyable aspect...

The Abortion of Tetris and Any Other Match Three Game

By MentalFloss on Sat, 2008-05-03 07:40
Pros: Has a perceived professional appearance in regards to installer
Cons: Essentially everything
I firmly believe that if you are to market a piece of software as a game, it needs to have three things. 1. Presentable User Interface (this includes HUDs, overall graphics, fonts used, etc) 2....

By shrishaster on Fri, 2008-04-18 06:10
Pros: saving possible, game timer, different levels, full screen option, background music, lots of options, move undo option
Cons: expensive, interface can be better
Brick shooter is a nice game. As the title of this review says, it is a little different from games similar to this one like the bubble shooter. The game also wants you to put in a 'little' brains to...

Challenges/Builds Mental Reaction Speed

By TrillaManilla on Sat, 2008-03-29 15:23
Pros: Brickshooter offers positive qualities which excercise your mental impulses, reactions, and quick-decision-making skills. This is demonstrated in the game when you are challenged to make quick decisions of where to place similar colored boxes.
Cons: Interest in the game may be lost fairly quickly because of the fact that there's not a lot to it. Frustration is a universal-gaming problem along with the addiction to continue play
Brickshooter is a classic puzzle game in which the object is to combine alike colors in order to execute them, which allows you to succeed to next stages.

Have A Couple Of Minutes

By WehttamNenait on Fri, 2008-03-28 03:34
Pros: pros include a addictive little game with optimal graphics and a great way to pump that mental iron.
Cons: No cons except for a little learning curve but you can get used to it in about ten or fifteen minutes.
BrickShooter is a game created by terminal studios. Different colored squares line up the sides of a grid and you "shoot them" to the center (which already starts out with squares). when three of the...

Worth Buying?

By braane on Fri, 2008-03-07 12:46
Pros: The game had some different features like changing skins, and the clock on the left. It had a certain addictive factor.
Cons: The game is long and becomes redundant. Its graphics are bad and the overall design is simple.
The game was just average at best. I started in to playing it and about 30 minutes later after failing about 10 times I gave up. I liked a couple of the features such as the clock thats on the left...
