Pretty Good MahJongg is... pretty good.

By KatAngel on Wed, 2009-01-07 00:52
Pros: A lot of unique games that are well-documented, with some unique features even in the traditional tile matching games.
Cons: Visual and aural quality of the game are incredibly sub-par. While these don't affect gameplay, they are a horrible distraction.
I don't think Goodsol Development would have been able to come up with a more fitting name for this game if they tried. It's packed with features, and shows signs of greatness, but it suffers from a...

Overwhelming MahJongg

By smurphy on Sun, 2008-11-23 22:48
Pros: You get an abundance of games for one low price. Navigation in the software is easy.
Cons: Sound and graphics are lacking. The tiles are hard to see.
Yes, the amount of games you get for the price is sweet however; when you open the software you are overwhelmed. There are too many options to choose from, makes you want to walk away from the...

Not worth the buy

By yangpeidong on Fri, 2008-11-21 00:25
Pros: Many games which I would play over solitare if I should sneak it into the office. Easy setup.
Cons: I won't even both with this if I ever get home. Horrible graphics, interface.
Pretty good MahJong is quite a pathetic name for a program. It's name brings neither intensity, addiction, or the ecstasy I rave for when games like World of Warcraft are released. Simply put, this...

The Most Basic MahJongg

By kitnocc on Mon, 2008-11-17 06:03
Pros: Many game modes. Easy install. Functional interface.
Cons: Bad visuals. More-than-annoying sound effects. All games look alike.
Let me start this review by saying that I'm a fan of the MahJongg games. The principle is very simple: Find 2 blocks that are the same and then they can be removed by clicking on them. Blocks that...

Not Intuitive, Inaccessable

By decourlande on Wed, 2008-10-22 20:32
Pros: There are many game choices. If you want to play every version of Majong, you might like it.
Cons: The layout is not intuitive. You need to take the time to learn the software to enjoy it.
The tiles were very difficult to view. There is a red band around them, indicative of a shadow, and depth. But I still have a very hard time determining if a tile is free, or bound by other tiles....

Pretty BAD MahJongg

By Shoupiedoop21 on Tue, 2008-07-29 05:54
Pros: Lots and Lots of options. Fairly simple interface.
Cons: Colors are lame and unexciting.
I've played MahJongg before and this version takes the cake for one of the worst. First impressions don't always work like people would like. The overall start screen of the game is fair at best. It...

Pretty BAD MahJongg

By OshySpot on Fri, 2008-07-18 15:23
Pros: A ton of variations of play
Cons: Horrible interface, background and colors are very hard on your eyes
Pretty Good MahJongg? Who came up with that title? The game was pretty much doomed to failure in my mind just because I couldn’t get passed the title. If you really, really like MahJongg type...

More MahJongg Than You'll Ever Need

By Wazoltoff on Mon, 2008-07-14 22:40
Pros: Quick loading. Fast game play. No Addware. More MahJongg variants than you know what to do with.
Cons: Costs 20$ for a game that is free almost anywhere. Graphics are excruciatingly basic. Gameplay is boring and pointless.
I've been playing MahJongg since 1990 when Microsoft released their Windows Entertainment Pack on the Windows 3.1 operating System. You could play MahJongg in astounding 256-bit color(!), and if the...

Lots of MahJongg

By truthspeaker116 on Wed, 2008-06-11 21:28
Pros: Plenty of layouts and game options to adjust the game to your own difficulty level.
Cons: Could have done way better with the graphics. Very messy interface. Needs sound. Not sure its worth $20.
My brother has had this game for a pretty good while but I was never attracted to it at all until I saw it on SoftwareJudge.Com. After all the game doesn't sound all that great when you hear, "Pretty...
