Average Keeps Its Meaning

By voya on Wed, 2006-10-18 03:01
Pros: Idea of building your own colony on the moon is sort of original.
Cons: Average gameplay, with very little new features to this genre.
Moon Tycoon has basically nothing good going for it. This kind of game has been done countless times before. The best Tycoon game to be released recently would have to be Roller Coaster Tycoon 2....

Good for what it is

By Seth Busching on Tue, 2006-10-17 08:00
Pros: - Decent visuals - Simple interface. Anyone can play, but not intended as a children's game - Enough options and build types keep the game from being monotinous - Can be run on a low-end computer (I tested it on a Pentium III 1ghz laptop, just to see if it would run. No problem once the game loaded.)
Cons: - Tutorial is not particularly in-depth - Not a very original game - Experienced glitches when opening and closing the game, however, it may be the computer that it was tested on
This game is essentially like any other "Tycoon" style game. There is a very SimCity feel to the economy system. I would not consider this game to be in any way revolutionary, but for those who...

Another Tycoon - Different but the same

By ayazt on Tue, 2006-08-01 03:23
Pros: This game is fun, unique, places us in a different atmosphere and is a easy game to learn and play.
Cons: This game is limited in the challenges and adventures.
Moon Tycoon is another tycoon adventure... This game takes you to another atmosphere... This is interesting simply for the fact that you are placed on the moon rather than the typical realms... The...

Just plain cool

By Eliot Hagen on Thu, 2006-06-29 21:27
Pros: Innovative concept.
Cons: None, really.
I can't believe no one else thought of a Space Sim (although maybe someone has and I'm just out of touch.) Regardless, it's a great idea. I mean--come on--build a colony on the moon, negotiate with...

Moon Tycoon - I Love It

By FinalFantasyFan on Mon, 2006-06-12 01:59
Pros: Very easy to play, If you like games like 'The Sims' and 'Sim City' then you will like this.
Cons: The Trial Version only gives you 10 minutes play time not enough in my book.
When I saw the word tycoon on the game ‘Moon Tycoon’, I had horrible images of one of the worst games I have ever played, which was ‘Coffee Tycoon’. But I must say how pleasantly surprised I...
