Cosmo Bots takes its cue from the addictive classics Jezzball and Qix. However, that's where the similarity ends, because Cosmo Bots has different shapes for each level, 3D rendered graphics, digital sound, new enemies, and tons of power-ups. The free version features a full set of 50 levels to play, and does not require any special hardware.

In CosmoBots you try to fill areas of a board by sending out lines in opposite directions from your bot. You can choose to send these lines out either horizontally or vertically. Once you have boxed out an entire section, it fills in. The goal is to fill in a set amount of the board. With 577 levels there is plenty here to keep you playing for a long time.

Pros: Unique Playing Style Game Trend Overall. It’s an addict able Game while you are playing in Office for fun at your Spare time. I could play this very well and fine on My Ultimate Vista Edition with no crashes. It doesn’t require any Special Hardware or Driver makes it a good point to choose than some other games. Anyone can play this Nice Graphic Designed game with ease of use. Easy to understand the game Concept. It’s just a mouse only using game and brainless for players. So people who are busy and tired at office or home then no need to scratch the head for it to enjoy at their Spare time.
Cons: After I played level 30+ then it seems boring. So buying this game with: Price: $17.99 will not satisfy most of the Office workers or Adult people or students. Because they will get bored after level 30+. Normally now a days there are a lot of free Flash Games available online for people can just play easily and some of them are very addictive, attractive and amusing for free! So why those would pay for $17.99 Just to pass their time for fun to play this 577 long levels Full Version Game???
I’m a Business I.T Professional. Usually I like to play Pc games when I got free time from my work or some of the boring days. This Game seems fine for me with trial version only because at trial...

Cosmo bots - Fun... but repetitive

By JuliaP on Sun, 2008-09-07 13:15
Pros: Clean graphics, groovy music and simple to use for any level of computer literacy.
Cons: It is repetitive and the user must have a mouse to play.
Cosmo bots is easy to learn and very simple to follow. Areas within a large box are sectioned off by using the left mouse click to create a zone. That zone is then then filled with bricks. Then...

Cosmo Bots Fun

By pinkpixie989 on Sun, 2008-08-10 03:22
Pros: It doesn't get boring. An easy game to understand and play, but it also gets hard enough as time goes on to keep your interest and make you want to win.
Cons: I've seen this sort of game before, although its revamped and redone well enough that it doesn't matter that much.
Well the first things you notice about this game are the graphics which are pretty good, good enough to make me take a second look at the little robots patrolling the outside of the screen, and the...

Wow! This is Entertainment!

Pros: Easy to learn, awesome specials, challenging, 577 levels of fun, futuristic graphics are cool, addictive
Cons: Absolutely None
Cosmo Bots is an extremely entertaining game. The concept is fun and at the same time it can be challenging. I really like the idea that you must cover 85% of the board while at the same time avoid...

A familiar game...

By Jawnny on Fri, 2008-07-04 08:15
Pros: It is a great game for the strategic soft-core gamer that just wants a way to pass time during the boring hours at work or elsewhere. It had easy to follow instructions with fun little techno background beats that got rather annoying after about 2 minutes of gameplay. The power ups added a sense of accomplishment for killing the enemies and not just bypassing them and it made the game much more strategic, but still slow paced.
Cons: While there are 577 levels for you to slug your way through, they become painfully repetative and sometimes only the background changes and nothing more. The AI of the bots is spontaneous and the enemies don't seem to know you are there. The levels don't really get harder, just more annoying. They start to feel overly crowded and it is apparent that the games "577 levels!" were quickly thrown together. An online leaderboard would have made the game a little better, just so you could see if your waste of time was better than other peoples waste of time.
Cosmo Bots is a rather addicting game, but has a very familiar feel. In fact I believe I played it at one point on a cell phone in a game that came with the phone. For $17.99 you could easily find a...

Totally Retro... In a Good Way!

By pem27 on Mon, 2008-06-30 06:38
Pros: Super-cool eighties techno-arcade music FUN! Easy to learn but gets progressively more challenging
Cons: Graphics look kinda like they belong on a Sega Genesis Instructions are bare-bones but the controls are simple
Since downloading CosmoBots, I haven't been able to stop playing it! This is a majorly addictive game. You begin by trying to build lines to fill in areas of a map with rocks in order to keep out...

Cons: Repetitive music, bland game play, too easy.
If you're looking for a good way to pass some spare time, I suggest looking elsewhere. My first impression of Cosmo Bots was that it looked somewhat visually pleasing and addictive. The instructions...

Pros: Simple gameplay
Cons: Bad Graphics, Boring Gameplay, Not worth the price.
Gameplay: Like Jezzball and Qix, Cosmobots takes from that simple gameplay to put a more sci-fi feel to it. Its a very simplistic addition however...there isn't really anything groundbreaking. Its...

Pros: Smooth and easy gameplay; unfortunately catchy soundtrack; doesn't take up much space on hard drive; 577 levels
Cons: Unchallenging and redundant gameplay; simple graphics; lack of story, or any rhyme or reason whatsoever; must be played in fullscreen, with no immediate way to minimize; 577 levels
Cosmo Bots is a menial game based entirely on point-and-click action; in that sense, the game is simple and brainless, a time waster in the spirit of online flash games. Yet even as a time waster the...
