Cosmo Bots takes its cue from the addictive classics Jezzball and Qix. However, that's where the similarity ends, because Cosmo Bots has different shapes for each level, 3D rendered graphics, digital sound, new enemies, and tons of power-ups. The free version features a full set of 50 levels to play, and does not require any special hardware.

In CosmoBots you try to fill areas of a board by sending out lines in opposite directions from your bot. You can choose to send these lines out either horizontally or vertically. Once you have boxed out an entire section, it fills in. The goal is to fill in a set amount of the board. With 577 levels there is plenty here to keep you playing for a long time.

Pros: Catchy opening theme
Cons: Too Exspensive, Dull, Unchallenging, no online leaderboards, repetitive, unoriginal
Listed at $17.99, I think its safe to say the free trial was too expensive for my taste in regards to the twenty minutes of my time Ill never get back. The gameplay revolves around an enclosed space...

A great Qix clone

By Me0w on Thu, 2010-01-28 06:07
Pros: Good graphics and music, interesting new ideas
Cons: Too expensive, not very original
Cosmo Bots is basically a clone of the old arcade game called Qix. The main task in the game is to fill out a majority of the board area by sending out lines from your "bot", which is controlled by...

Retro 64's Comso Bots is a Good Game But Not Great

By Inspector34 on Wed, 2009-11-11 18:34
Pros: 1. Unique and interesting gameplay 2. Good graphics and sound 3. Easy to play
Cons: 1. Repetitive gameplay 2. Levels look similar within episodes or groups
Cosmo Bots is a game reminisent of the Arcade game Qix which has been around since the 80's. It is basically a squiggly line that you have to trap by blocking off squares. The game can be fun for...

Pros: Really good first impression. Awesome animations and graphics. Good sounds Easy to play and understand. Easy to navigate the menu.
Cons: Not too special, though its unique. Price is too high for this.
When i saw the thumbnail pic of the Cosmo Bots, i thought that the game should be one of those common Arcade games. but i was intrigued by the creative type of game it was once i started playing it....

By Onizuka on Thu, 2009-10-01 14:18
Pros: Simple and simplistic gameplay, Good Techno soundtrack
Cons: Uninteresting graphics and animations, Price too steep for the material Not much to hook you in during the difficult levels
Cosmo Bots is a nice, simple game for the PC. The kind of game that you’d use to waste time at work or anything along the lines of that, but for $17.99, it’s definitely lacking of material. Cosmo...

Interesting, but not worth $17.99

By Chiddy on Mon, 2009-09-07 06:01
Pros: nice techno music; character models are well animated; fun for those times when you have nothing to do
Cons: dull interface; overpriced; basically the equivalent of a monotonous internet game
Cosmo Bots has an interesting concept, but the game would have been better as a free online game. The music, while entertaining, has little substance and consists of a generic techno beat. The levels...

Cosmo bots

By dh10166 on Fri, 2009-08-21 04:08
Pros: Good graphics, it is very easy to learn how to play and lots of levels
Cons: It gets boring very quickly and repetitive
At 17.99 Cosmo Bots isn't exactly breaking the bank but I would not pay that for it because of how quickly I got bored of the game. You basically have to cover 85% of the map and kill these aliens...

Present from the Cosmos

By prometheus09 on Fri, 2009-08-07 05:33
Pros: Simple concept and simple controls make this game fun and fairly addictive.
Cons: Occasionally hard to get power-ups; high price.
Cosmo Bots is, in simplest terms, exactly what I expected and perhaps a bit more. These sorts of games are the ones that can easily ensnare you in their grip for hours on end if you're not careful,...

Excellent, addictive form of entertainment.

By Robn8r on Sat, 2009-07-25 14:10
Pros: Suitable soundtrack, entertaining, addicting on a level that is not frustrating, requires high brain function and swift reflexes.
Cons: Difficult if you want a game you can play with ease. This test brain power and reflexes.
Out of many games I have played, this is so far one of the best. This game has over 100 levels of countless excitement and strategical decision-making. I could spend hours playing Cosmo Bots. I will...
